The Army Green colourway features black lining and zips, and is described as Rain37 by Ilse Jacobsen. The Eggplant colourway has contrast dark indigo zips and a black lining, the Milk Creme/Smoked Pearl and India Ink/Black versions include contrast colours as a lining (and a contrast zip) as pictured – these styles are described as Rain37B by Ilse Jacobsen. The cut is the same across both the Rain37 and Rain37B, the only difference is the contrasting colour scheme. The colour variation, Milk Creme/Smoked Pearl, is actually slightly lighter than appears in the photograph, being an off-white colour.
Ilse Jacobsen writes: “This classic 3/4-length jacket with raglan sleeves has a comfortable fit with a slightly tailored waist that gives a feminine silhouette. It is made of breathable soft-shell material and it allows you to move freely in the rain. It resists water pressure up to 5000mm and it withstands even the hardest torrential downpour. A Teflon Nanotech membrane creates an invisible shield that protects you from the elements. Taped seams keep the water from penetrating, leaving you happy and dry. Comfortable for you to ride your bicycle, without feeling tight in all the wrong places. Ideal whether you prefer biking or golfing, shopping or strolling. It is also available in a myriad of colours, so it is hard not to get moving in the rain.”
We find the fit is slightly small to size if you prefer room for layering, or true to size for more snug fit; compared to the similar but more tailored style, Rain07/07B, this style is a little more relaxed.
