Ilse Jacobsen Rain37L Soft Shell Raincoat (2023 Autumn/Winter Season)

Ilse Jacobsen writes: "This functional raincoat, with raglan sleeves, has a comfortable fit with a figure-flattering silhouette and a longer length to keep your legs dry. The shell fabric has a unique cylinder print and is bonded with soft fleece on inside, adding unique comfort and warmth. This raincoat has taped seams, Eco-repel and a waterproof rating of 5000 mm which will be enough for heavy showers, while 3000 M/P ensures you can move quickly without feeling damp."

The softshell material has a slight stretch to it, and the styling includes a slightly tailored waist and a centre back slit with press studs for freedom of movement. The YKK AquaGuard 2-way zipper makes it easy to sit comfortably. This style is the same as the three quarter length Rain37, except that this is around 10cm longer at the hem.

We find the fit is slightly small to size if you prefer room for layering, or true to size for more snug fit; compared to the similar but more tailored style, Rain07, this style is a little more relaxed. We have measured the Rain37L, laid flat on a table, as follows:

Size 36: Chest (armpit to armpit) 17.5"/45cm, waist (in line with top of pockets) 17"/44cm, hips (just below bottom of pockets) 19.5"/50cm, sleeve (cuff to armpit) 20.5"/50cm, length (neck seam to hem) 37"/94cm.
Size 38: Chest 18.5"/47cm, waist 18"/46cm, hips 20.5"/52cm, sleeve 21"/53cm, length 38"/96cm.
Size 40: Chest 19.5"/49cm, waist 19"/48cm, hips 21.5"/55cm, sleeve 21.5"/54cm, length 38.5"/97cm.
